lowenstein | denver, CO
/ (1 of 1)

The goal of the Lowenstein redevelopment was to create a media destination that focused on the relationship between books, music, and film. The Tattered Cover bookstore moved into the historic Lowenstein Theater, while the music store Twist & Shout and Neighborhood Flix, a combined movie theater and restaurant, were located in the newly constructed portion. In addition to this retail space, we provided design and construction administration services for the 220–parking space garage and the core and shell space for future tenants. This project, which has become a landmark of Colfax Avenue, was achieved through a thoughtful design process, technical skill, and careful attention to the neighboring community.
